An introduction to DIAMAP and an invitation to take part
Welcome to the DIAMAP2020 Roadmap for Diabetes Research in Europe,
a project of EURADIA: The Alliance for European Diabetes Research. Updating the DIAMAP project is central to EURADIA’s mission
and is the tool that generates the material essential for a rational diabetes advocacy strategy, targeting support for diabetes
research at European and national level.
The Roadmaps are updated continuously by experts from the European diabetes research community and an exemplar roadmap on Type 1
Diabetes is underway.
This updated and relaunched website is a new and interactivetool built by using data gathered during the original 2010 European Commission FP7-funded DIAMAP project.
In addition to the Roadmap, the website also includes a Landscape Map
and searchable databases locating diabetes researchers and the organisations that fund
the research across Europe. We shall be contacting researchers individually by email to collect information
for this Landscape.
To send comments and/or information that you would like to see in future roadmaps please click the button on the right of the screen ‘send feedback’.
Thank you for contributing to DIAMAP 2020, this is your website, we hope you enjoy using it now and even more in the future versions!

Professor Andrew Boulton, EURADIA Chair March 2017
The map only identifies Europe; however, the database also contains researchers from outside Europe.
This website is created with material from the European Union FP7-funded DIAMAP project (concluded 2010). The content is continually being reviewed and updated as we are undertaking on-going consultation with the diabetes research community. Progress will be indicated on the road maps. You can send comments on the scientific content through the tab on the right 'make a feedback!'.
